I know, I know. Mastodon.

"We get it, Mr.V. You like Mastodon and everything they do."

Shut up V-nation and go eat your Wheaties.

But, watch this too. Troy Sanders does a better job at vocalizing a Dave Mustaine song than Dave Mustaine does.

A little History For You Animals

1960:
Ringo starr filled in for The Beatles' Pete Best, at a recording session for Rory Storm And The Hurricaines' guitarist, wally Eymond, to record  the single, "Summertime"  in Hamburg Germany. It marks the first recording session including Paul, John, Ringo and George. It wouldn't be for another two years that Ringo joined the band permanently. Only nine  copies of  78 RPM "Summertime" was pressed. None are known to still exist.

1965:
Jimi Hendrix, for one dollar, inked his first recording contract. He agreed on a 1% royalty on all of his recordings.

1973:
A court in Nice, France finds The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards guilty of using, supplying and trafficking in marijuana and heroin. The penalty is a 5,000-franc fine, a one-year suspended sentence and he is barred from entering France for two years.

1988:
UB40 was enjoying the top tune in America with a reggae version of Neil Diamond's"Red, Red Wine". Diamond's 1968 rendition only made it to #62.

1995:
Paul and Linda McCartney are the guest voices on Fox-TV's The Simpsons in an episode called "Lisa the Vegetarian". Macca's stipulation for appearing was that Lisa's decision to become a vegetarian would be a permanent character change, to which producer David Mirkin agreed

2018:
Britain's Official Charts Company named The Beatles' masterpiece "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" as the most popular British album of all time. Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon", Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" also made it to the Top 10.

Take it, learn it, love it. Keep the history of music alive, kids.

Take care.

Downloads section

I've decided to add a downloads section where you can download VST patches for Serum, Sylenth1, and Massive.  All of the patches are ones that I've either created for the sake of you guys to use, or they are the ones I use in my own songs. In other words, I made some cool shit and I'm sharing it with you. For free. Because that's how things are done in the V-nation.  The only thing I request in return is to leave a comment and let me know which one(s) you downloaded. That gives me a better idea as to what you guys like, and helps me make better patches.

Right now, there are only 4, but as I get time, I'll be adding more, so check back often to see what I've got.

Take care.
